CÉDRIC NOËL
Cédric Noël (°1978, Argenteuil, FR; live and work in Brussels BE) is a visual artist exploring the plasticity of information and the relationships between words and things, between thinking and its translations. His work is inspired by methods used in the scientific field of research, which he reinvests in new forms shaped by language. Art studies at La Villa Arson (Nice FR) and Laureat of the HISK (Antwerpen BE). Exhibitions at BOZAR (Brussels BE), ERBAN (Nantes FR), CAC (Vilnius LT), MUHKA (Antwerpen BE), Contour Biennale (Mechelen BE), Emergent Gallery (Veurne BE) Museum of Architecture (Tallinn BE), Frans Hals Museum (Haarlem NL)... Current professor at ENSAV La Cambre (Brussels BE). Co-founder of The Mental Masonry Lab (with Mira Sanders) and Astrocyte Studio.
