Doriane Timmermans is currently a member of OSP, where she works on design commisions for either web or printed materials. In her designer practice, she tries to explore the singularities and possibilities of working with simple web technologies, mainly HTML & CSS. She is fascinated by this use of language to shape something, or designing with intents rather than with fixed steps or compositions. She also crafts personal projects where writing code is there as a space, a cultural context, a tool or a literary matter. More globally: she likes to think about systems and automatised processes as sensible mediums; she tries to question tools by looking at what they make us do, as much as what they do.
